Sinner moved out of the trees to the prairie. It was green and looked beautiful. He was hungry so he walked out and looked around for a moment. There was no sign of two-leggers or his own species. He moved out in the middle then settled his head down to graze. He chewed at the grass full of sugar. He knew he was gonna get fat, but that was ok. Who cared? His ears moved back and forth, listening for trouble as he did. He always heard that coming down here was dangerous. The two-legged supposively jumped out in the middle of nowhere and roped you down then took you in to train you and sell you.

Jack and I had gone out for a ride to see if any mustangs came out of the mountains for the spring grass. Jack and I stoppedd our horses, Attitude & Remedy, to look around. We hadnt seen any thing yet but our horses sensed something. Lets hope its not a mountain lion, said jack. I nodded and we walked on. It was about thirty minutes before I noticed a stallion grazing. I stopped Jack and made a motion for him to be quiet. I pointed to the stallion and smiled. Jack nodded and we sat down wind of the beatiful creature.

Sinner felt something watching him. He lifted his head and his ears listened for anything at all. He stuck his nose in the air to smell around him. But of course, they were smart and were down wind, so he didn't get a scent from them. But he still felt eyes on him. He started to get a little nervous and he moved into a canter across the land. His legs moved gracefully along the terrain. His knotted mane and tail flowed in the wind like banners. He caught a smell of a horse. He stopped and sniffed the air some more. He looked up and saw a couple horses, with two-leggers on them. He snorted. Why would a horse let a two-legger get on them. Weren't they mean? He was curious now. He whinnied and reared up and striked the air.

Hes beautiful, I whispered. When he lifted his head Jack and I watched him carefully. He caught the sight of us then caught our scent. we watched as he reared. Hes gorgeous, I said once again. Yup he sure is a beauty, said Jack fixing himslef in his saddle. We watched him some more wondering if he had a herd or was a loner. I hope we see more, I said. Jack nodded to my comment. Attitude perked his ears to the whinny of the other horse. He whinnied back. Shh attitude, I said and patted the horse on his neck. Remedy and Attitude had their ears perked forward. I looked back up to the stallion hoping we werent causing any trouble.

Sinner was confused. These two-leggers were not chasing after him. He stood quietly, just staring them down. His tail moved to his sides, to rid the flies. He heard the horse whinnie and he whinnied again. He c.ocked his find foot, wondering.. daring these people to come after him. His hair hung in his eyes, in big knots. He shook his head so he could see better. He was tempted to walk to them, so.. he did.
Sinner moved toward them cautiously. He got closer and closer, still they weren't acting like they were gonna hurt him. His curiousity getting the best of him, he stood 10 feet in front of them. His ears perked forward. His eyes studying the creatures on the horses back. They were so weird looking. He took in the scent, it smelled different.

My heart started to race with excitment as the stallion came closer. I had worked with wild mustangs all my life. My granfather said I was a born horse whisperer, someone who could talk with horses. Cale, said Jack in a low voice. I studied the horse. I knew he was curious. He wants to know why we arent chasing him, I said lowly looking ino the horses eyes. He was an amazing creature. Attitude shook his mane and watched the stallion carefully. Remedy and him were ready for anything. They were taught that way. Jack watched me before looking back to the Stallion. He waited for my signal. a signal for anything.

Sinner was really confused. He stepped closer and he sniffed the horses and then he moved to Jack's side. He sniffed him and snorted. He sniffed his leg, then his boot. He sneezed and walked around the horses to Cale. He could smell that she was freindly. He sniffed her leg and boot as well. He snorted and looked at what they were riding on. He shook his head, those horses were crazy. He wondered if these people would catch him? He actually kinda wanted them too, that way he could really see what they were all about. He was interested.

Jack stayed perfectly still. He was sure something bad was going to happen. You could never trust a wild stallion. Attitude and Remedy touched noses with the stallion before loosing slight interest. They were use to other horses. I watched the stally and smiled. He was really curious about us. I wanted to reach out and touch him but knew it wasnt the right time. Its a saddle, I said to him. I knew he wouldnt understand me much but I still talked to him. We werent going to catch him. We didnt buy and sell horses like some ranches. Thats why we were here. To save the horses.

Sinner jumped hearing her voice. He snorted and backed up a little bit. He reared and striked the air and pinned his eyes and pawed at the ground. He swirled around and kicked at them then bolted off. He ran acroos the prairie to the woods. He stopped there and watched the people. He would find where they lived tonight.. he wanted to check these people out.
Once they were gone and it was getting dark. He moved around the land after a couple hours he found a ranch from afar. He studied it and walked towards it. It was around 5 am, just before sunrise when he arrived. He moved around the area, looking at the fences and the horses around him. He whinnied to them and he moved into round pen and sniffed the dirt. A wind kicked up and the gate shut and he snorted and jumped in the air. He looked at the pen, he was locked up. He started to pace back and forth, worried something was gonna happen to him. He pawed the ground nervously and he whinnied at the other horsers.

Attitude jumped back hitting into Remedy when the stallion kicked. I was nearly thrown from my saddle but hung on to the horn catching myself. Told you, Jack said. I looked to Jack and rolled my eyes. Come on lets get back and have dinner, I said and we headed home.
I was laying awake use to getting up at this hour. I looked at my clock and sighed. I felt the window blow through my wind and caress my face. The horses began to whinny and I heard their feet thundering as they ran around in their paddock. I got out of bed dress in a tank and short shorts. I rarely slept in pjs in the spring and summer. Looking out my window I saw my horses were uneasy about something. I walked over and put my boots on and headed outside. I saw the root of the noise in a round pen. I smiled and shook my head. I walked over to the fence and peered in. We meet again, I said softly watching the stallion.

Sinner looked to see the girl next to the round pen and he pinned his ears and charged at her. He was just on the defensive at the moment, and he didn't reconize her. He hit the fence with his body then he stood and studied the girl. If a horse could smirk, he would of. He watched the girl and he pawed the ground. His body was lathered in sweat. He kinda wanted out of the pen, but then again, he wanted to see what these humans did to horses like him. How they got horses to be so .. strange like the horses they were riding earlier.

I stepped back as he rammed into the fence. I didnt want to keep him in there. I didnt like keeping these kinda horses kept in a encloser. I walked over to the gate and unlatched it. The wind gently blew. My hair softly caressed my face. I smiled to the stallion and stood back in case he raced out of the pen. He was the most curious mustang I had every seen before. Especially one without a herd. I looked into his eyes trying to see what he was saying.

Sinner jumped a little as the gate opened. His eyes stared at the open gate. He walked out sniffing the ground. He looked to the girl and turned and faced her. His eyes, showing curiousity about her. They also showed that he wanted to see what she was all about, what humans did to the horses, to see if it was really as bad as they say. He stood and watched the girl intently. The wind blew his knotted mane to the other side of his neck. He reached his nose out to sniff her.

I watched the horse. He was different. I liked it. I stood still and made slow movements as he sniffed me. I wanted to show him I wasnt going to hurt him or tame him. I remember Helios. He was a palomino mustang that had let me ride him once. But the stallion had gone away. I havent seen him since. I slowly held out my hand for him to sniff it. The wind blew again. The horses in the other paddocks raced back and forth. A storm was brewing in the west. It usually wasnt a bad one so I didnt worry.

Sinner sniffed her intently. The wind didn't bother him, he was too interested in the girl. He would always have a free spirit, but he might also be loyal for a human. He looked the girl in the eye. He looked at the barn then the horses running. He stepped closer to her, so his head was right in front of her. He sniffed her more, trying to figure out what she was all about. He memorized her every smell. He then sniffed her face and sneezed.
